MultiState Tax Commission
Goal:
This website was previously built on Kentico. Due to technical issues a new website was required to be built in just a few weeks, which mirrored the previous Kentico website’s design. The content editor also required flexibility to be able to store and sort thousands of pdfs, documents, and archives.
Technologies:
WordPress, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Divi Theme, Zoho Projects
Process:
- I built a Temporarily landing page to redirect visitors while the site was under construction and still provide access to urgent resources.
- I rebuilt the Kentico website in WordPress using Divi Theme so that the client could easily make updates to the site with no prior WordPress Knowledge
- Built out the development plan and functionality requirements.
- Migrated old site content, and resources for 50+main pages. Trained the Client Content Editor to manage her team to migrate the remaining resources for minor pages.
- Trained the Client Content Editor to apply the templates that I built to rebuild existing content.
- Setup Filebird to give a media library more similar to the type of structure the client had at Kentico
- Quality assurance fixes as well as troubleshooting bugs.
- I provided live training sessions for our content team, the client’s content team, and the development team.
- Created training documentation as well as tutorial videos.
