Process:
The previous marketing, design, and content team, rebranded Port KC a few years ago. I picked up where they left off as project manager and developer.
- I established a project timeline, and functionality requirements, worked with the the client to gather and update content, and scheduled meetings and training.
- I migrated usable site content and events.
- I rebuilt the custom themed website in WordPress using Divi Theme so that the client could easily make updates to the site.
- Geocode property addresses for Mapbox
- Trained the Client Content Editor and her team to make updates to the new website.
- Quality assurance fixes as well as troubleshooting bugs.
- Created training documentation as well as tutorial videos.
- Go live steps including submitting the sitemap, Google Analytics, dns updates, and redirections.
